Brushes with Fame!!

Well it was inevitable... working in retail in one of the biggest cities in the world you'll eventually run into a few celebrities!!! Check out our brushes with fame...

Jo had Tony Adams (Ex star football player for Arsenal, a big club in London) come into her store to have his kids hair cut.


Next came Claudia Schiffer who came to Jo's store to get shoes for her kids. She took her ticket, waited patiently in line for her turn while there was a squabble in the store room for who got to serve her...


Then for Jeremy it was a sleepy afternoon selling sunglasses on a very hot summers day (well hot for England anyway). When all of a sudden who races into the shop? None other than Australia's own Elle Macpherson!! That's right the very Elle Macpherson who is regarded as one of the worlds top supermodels! The same Elle Macpherson who was voted by a really big panel of guys as having the perfect female body shape! Anyway basically she races into the shop and in true celebrity fashion is talking on her mobile phone... she walks up to the cabinet and begins pointing frantically at a pair of sunglasses and shoves her credit card in my face! It's at this point i get the impression she is in some sort of hurry! So as I put the sale through I start to strike up a little conversation to make the time pass more smoothly to which she succinctly replies "Can you hurry up babe, I've got three screaming kids in the car!". Now the most important part of that response was not the fact it was a typically rude celebrity response or the fact it reminds me that Elle Macpherson is a mother of three, but that Elle Macpherson called me "Babe!". That's right Fellas one of the worlds sexiest women thought I was attractive enough to warrant recieving an off hand compliment borne of careless habitual dealings in the celebrity world! Well it made my day!


We've also managed to see the Queen twice!! Though the first time the policemen got in the way of the photo...


And we even managed to get ourselves in a photo with this celebrity!!
