It's not a party if the floor isn't broken when it's over.

There comes a time every year when it’s your birthday! Luckily for No. 103b that time of year was the same for 3/4 of us. What’s the best way to celebrate three birthdays under one roof? The only answer is…HOUSEPARTY!!!!!!

The party was bigger than we expected and totally went off! One of the best parties I have been to in ages! Alcohol was enjoyed, love was found, friends were made around a box of cereal and someone (not mentioning any names Dan) put a hole in my floor! Brilliant!!

They say a photo says a thousand words so I’ll have to let them do the rest of the talking as by the end of the night none of us could string a coherent sentence :)

West Highland Way 20th-27th May

Time is absolutely flying by!! Jeremy and I leave London in less than 3 weeks and about 3 weeks ago I also swore I would get the blog up to date, but am still WAY too far behind. So in an effort to acheive this impossible dream, here are some pics from our hike in Scotland back in May:

The weather left a little to be desired, but we were in the Scottish highlands, so we couldn't have expected anything less!

Our hostel on the second night, great location!

The weather wasn't always so great...

Baby cow! ...well at least a young one!

A self-take at the half-way point of the West Highland Way, only 76.5km to go!!

Ben Nevis

He he! These were hanging up at our hostel that night!

View from Ben Nevis, nealy at the top!

Getting there, only a few more meters to go!!

Narrowboat holiday in Wales

Just as the fine April weather was about to come to and end we managed to squeeze in a long weekend at the beginning of May on a Narrowboat on the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales.

The canal itself is quite isolated from the rest of the canal system, and is relatively quite, making it perfect for beginners like us!

The beautiful scenery we got to drive through for four days!

Karin and Jeremy driving the boat.

Nothing like hanging round in your pyjamas until midday, especially as you wave to passing cyclists and walkers!

Our pretty little boat in the lock

Waiting for the lock to fill up.

Pushing open the lock gates

It was always a squeeze through the bridges...

Watch your heads in the tunnel!!

Mooring our boat while we waited for our turn to go through the lock.

At the Old Rectory Hotel for dinner on the last night.
